  1. Browsing Instructors: Students start by browsing through a list of instructors available in their specific region. They can filter instructors by categories such as experience level, type of lesson (beginner, intermediate, advanced), and availability.

  2. Messaging Instructors: Once a student finds an instructor they are interested in, they can send a message through the platform. This initial message is typically to check availability and ask any preliminary questions.

  3. Discussing Schedule: The instructor then responds, providing guidance on potential dates and times for the lesson based on the wind forecast. Since wind conditions are crucial for kiteboarding, instructors use their expertise to suggest the best days.

  4. Booking Request: After deciding on a suitable day, the student sends a booking request for that day/time through the platform.

  5. Instructor Response: The instructor reviews the booking request. If everything is in order, the instructor accepts the request. If there are still details to be finalized or adjustments needed, the instructor may refuse the request and communicate further with the student to resolve any issues.

  6. Payment: Once the booking request is accepted, the student is required to pay for the class through the platform.

  7. Confirmation Emails: After the payment is processed, both the student and the instructor receive an email confirming the paid booking.

  8. Pre-Lesson Information: The student also receives a detailed message from the instructor containing important information about the lesson, including the exact location, parking instructions, equipment needed, and what to bring etc.

  9. Weather Dependence: Kiteboarding, Wing Foiling, and Windsurfing are wind-dependent sports. If the wind doesn’t cooperate on the scheduled day, the class must be rescheduled. The instructor and student will coordinate to find another suitable time based on the updated wind forecast and their mutual availability.

This ensures that lessons occur under optimal conditions, providing the best possible experience for the student.
