NEW THIS SEASON!
We are excited to introduce several new features and equipment upgrades for this season:

New Wetsuits: We’ve purchased new Dakine 3/2 wetsuits in standard sizes (S, M, L, XL) for students to use during lessons. Reach out if you need a suit!
Jetski Support: Lessons will now be conducted using our new Yamaha VX Cruiser jetski, stationed on a floating dock in Dewey for quick access. This means:No more long walks back upwind!
No more learning with kiters and other traffic in the way!
No more stopping and turning around to avoid deep water once you get up and going!

NOTES AND FAQS FOR NEW STUDENTS
Wind Conditions: Lessons require onshore winds (S, SW, W, NW, or SSE) averaging 12 knots or more. Local forecasting tools are available in the useful links section.
Safety Gear: Helmets with hands-free BBtalkin intercom systems are used for quick and easy coaching.
Equipment: All kiteboarding gear is provided. Students can use their own gear at the instructor’s discretion.
Comfort Gear: Students should bring their own wetsuits or water shoes. We now offer Dakine 3/2 full wetsuits in standard sizes (S, M, L, XL). Water shoes and inexpensive sunglasses are recommended.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or cash.
Lesson Structure: Beginner water lessons are generally run in 3-hour blocks. All lessons are private and customized to the student’s skill level. Private group lessons are available, with an additional $80 per person (one kite per instructor, students will share kite time).
Progress: Most students will be able to safely fly the kite by the end of the first lesson. The time it takes to get up and ride varies; prior experience with trainer kites, stunt kites, and board sports can accelerate the learning curve.

KITE STORE
We offer excellent deals on equipment for our students. School equipment is sold and replaced every 3 to 6 months and is often available at discounted rates. Reach out to get set up!
